I am a second year Ph.D. student at the University of Birmingham. My research is on concurrent decision making problems for the coordination of perception and actions in robots.

My main interests lie within the fields of Artificial Inteligence and Robotics. In particular, decision making problems and learning. My Ph.D. topic involves the coordination between perceptual actions and physical actions in a robot. In the case of perception my focus is on vision and the implementation of visual routines.   :: Short Biography ::

Previously, I was the Director of the Information Technology Department at the School of Engineering at the Universidad Autonoma de San Luis Potosi. I was also an adjunct professor (lecturer) at the Computing and Informatics Department at the same university. I am the editor and webmaster of the Mexican Robotics Association website. And I am part of the Mexican Society committee at the University of Birmingham.
