My main interests lie within the fields of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics. In particular, decision making problems and learning. My Ph.D. topic involves developing principled ways for the coordination of gaze and physical actions in a robot. The main problem for the robot is to decide where to look in order to gather relevant information for the completion of some task. The idea is to model the coordination problem in a reward-based mechanism. [More...]

Previously, I was an adjunct professor (lecturer) at the Computing and Informatics Department at the Universidad Autonoma de San Luis Potosi. I am the editor and webmaster of the Mexican Robotics Association website.
