ABSTRACT:
The stability of fine particle suspensions of single and bimineral mixtures has been studied. The common rules of heterocoagulation have been summarized. The chemical and physical dispersion methods have also been studied. It was found that several organic or polymer inorganic dispersants have stronger effects than sodium silicate and that a method of combining dispersant addition with ultrosonic treatment gives the best dispersion results.
